They have very friendly staff. But forget huge portions, they are monstrous! Their combos are just enough for 2.5 people. I ordered their almond boneless chicken and it was fried to perfection. I am definitely eating here again, well worth the price. I would recommend their shrimp friend rice, you won't be disappointed.

Not bad for Americanized Chinese food: Locals remember the great original Wing Hong's that stood on the corner of 14 and Orchard Lake. It was the best Chinese restaurant around for years. It was demolished well over a decade ago. The carry-out version never fully lived up to the rep of the parent restaurant but has always managed to deliver consistently good Americanized Chinese food. The menu has your Sweet 'n' Sour dishes, chow meins, lo meins, rices, and the American fave Almond Boneless Chicken. The combination dinners come with a great eggroll and a huge mound of fried rice. Atypical of most Chinese restaurants these days. The sauces are all factory made and you will not find any authentic Cantonese or Sezhuan (sp?) dishes here but rest assured, for the price, the food is plentiful and meets most expectations. For carry-out, it is still probably the best around.

Carry Out from here quite often. Portions are usually good for 2-3 meals. Beef dishes are a little tough. Chicken is fresh and good. Rice is plentiful and egg rolls are loaded with ingredients and crispy. Most meals are lightly seasoned and taste does not overpower the crispy veggies.

Terrible, I was not happy at all with their sesame chicken. We had just moved close by and I thought 'great, our new Chinese place!' I was wrong, and it took a while to be ready. Big portions tho.

MOST AMAZING PLACE FOR CHINESE FOOD EVER NOT JUST IN THE AREA!!! I moved to Highland (roughly 25min away) and would drive all the way back here for this food! The sweet and sour chicken and fried rice is top notch with whole meat white meat chicken deep fried and super crunchy the rice perfection not too bland not overly seasoned either. The egg drop soup is not my forte but my boyfriend and 3kids love it, they say it's like a soft boiled egg in a cup. The only thing I don't like is their crab ragoons. They use raw onions and I hate onions but especially biting into a whole piece gross. Anyway I totally recommend this place for larger families or singletons who can eat Chinese for 3days

I have been going to this place for years, and I still have to find a place that is as good and as generous as this with their food. Highly recommended if you are a fan of Chinese. Their sweet and sour chicken is to die for, and so are their egg rolls. Love this place!

fast and budget friendly! On busy week nights carryout is my best friend. One of my go-to spots is Wing Hong's Express. They are fast, reasonably priced and are generous with their portions. What more do you need when it comes to a carryout restaurant? Last week when I swung into their parking lot, I hadn't even ordered my food yet. I was in a rush (like always) but it only took eight minutes from the time I placed my order until I was swiftly walking to the car with a heavy carryout bag in tow.

Gross greasy Chinese take out. The batter on the fried food was so heavy and the chicken over cooked and stringy. The fried rice tasted like day old coffee. Skip this place it gave us all stomach aches

So disappointing! We used to go to the old Wing Hong when it was on 14 and Orchard Lake. It was so good! Even a couple of years ago, my brother Craig and I went to the one on Ten Mile and it was great. I've even been to this carry out before and it was just like it was when I was a kid. Then I went tonight. The portion was huge! However, it was Bland, Bland, Bland! I poured a packet of soy sauce on my Chicken Chop Suey with Chicken Fried Rice and still bland. I looked over at the crispy egg roll, and I cut into it, brought it to my mouth, waiting for the flavor to burst onto my tongue. Alas, it was not meant to be! Bland! I poured the sauce over it, hoping it would save my egg roll. Nope. Hey, Wing Hong! What the hell? What happened to the wonderful food? Did you lose your grandfathers recipes or do you just not care? I don't think I will try it again.

The food is amazing!! Your food is ready super quick. The portions are huge and will last for days. Considering the massive portions, the price is very reasonable.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
